Warm Cinnamon Oatmeal with Chia Seeds
Oatmeal is a powerhouse for gut health. It’s packed with soluble fiber to keep digestion moving and chia seeds provide omega-3s and prebiotic fiber.
- ½ cup Rolled Oats gluten-free
- 1 cup Almond Milk or Coconut Milk unsweetened
- 1 tbsp Chia Seeds
- ½ tspn Cinnamon
- 1 tspn Raw Honey or Maple Syrup
- ¼ cup Banana or Apple sliced
- 1 tbsp Walnuts (optional) chopped
In a small pot, heat almond milk over medium heat until warm but not boiling.
Stir in oats, chia seeds, and cinnamon.
Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until oats are soft and creamy.
Remove from heat and let sit for a minute.
Top with banana, honey, and walnuts if using.
Serve warm and enjoy!
