Warm Cinnamon Oatmeal with Chia Seeds

Oatmeal is a powerhouse for gut health. It’s packed with soluble fiber to keep digestion moving and chia seeds provide omega-3s and prebiotic fiber.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup Rolled Oats gluten-free
  • 1 cup Almond Milk or Coconut Milk unsweetened
  • 1 tbsp Chia Seeds
  • ½ tspn Cinnamon
  • 1 tspn Raw Honey or Maple Syrup
  • ¼ cup Banana or Apple sliced
  • 1 tbsp Walnuts (optional) chopped

Instructions

  • In a small pot, heat almond milk over medium heat until warm but not boiling.
  • Stir in oats, chia seeds, and cinnamon.
  • Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until oats are soft and creamy.
  • Remove from heat and let sit for a minute.
  • Top with banana, honey, and walnuts if using.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!
