Homemade Mayonnaise
Homemade mayo is far superior to store-bought versions, which often contain refined oils and preservatives. Avocado oil creates a creamy, rich texture with a mild taste that blends beautifully with other ingredients.
- 1 pc Egg
- 1 cup Avocado Oil
- 1 tsp Lemon Juice
- 1 tsp Dijon Mustard
- ½ tsp Salt
Add all ingredients to a wide-mouth mason jar. Using an immersion blender, lift up and down for about 30 seconds until thick and creamy. if you don't have an immersion blender, use a regular blender—start with the egg, then slowly drizzle in the avocado oil on medium speed until thick. Add the remaining ingredients and blend. Enjoy your fresh, homemade mayo!
